STREAM Montessori School’s Toddler program is to facilitate continuous growth of the child. Everything is geared toward supporting the child to become more functional independent, their sense of order, spurting language capability to express themselves, and physical competence.

The materials
- The materials are chosen to aid fine motor skills, gross motor coordination and control.
- Stimulate children’s curiosity and to facilitate concentration
- Encourage children to experiment and to develop critical thinking skills
Language development
- Our loving caregivers engage the toddler in conversation with verbal explanation of activities and things around.
- Effective communication is encouraged and social skills are developed.
- Interactive play and imaginative play to build vocabulary
- There are lots of nursery rhymes and book readings.
- With room rotating program and montessori material enriched activities, toddler have more opportunity to acquire language skills.
Independence
- Toddlers gain independence through potty training, self-care and doing things themselves.
- Children develop a sense of confidence through practical life activities, daily tasks and freedom to choose working activities.
Character and Ethics
- Respect the child is the key. Children develop self-identity and community, respect diversity and care for their environment.
- Develop social skills through group activities.
Physical Competence
- Age appropriate activities are chosen to refine gross motor skills and fine motor skills
- Indoor and outdoor play structure to aid the growing demand: walking, climbing, jumping, tumbling, balancing
