Jun Reitman
Director
Ms. Jun is an accomplished educator and expert in early childhood education, with a Master's degree in Business Administration and Psychology, and with credential from the American Montessori Society (AMS). As a respected speaker in the field of selective mutism, Ms. Jun has presented on this topic at both the Selective Mutism Association (SMA) and American Montessori Society (AMS) conferences. Ms. Jun co-authored two books on the topic, The Selective Mutism Workbook for Parents and Professionals: Small Steps, Big Changes” and Supporting your Child with Selective Mutism: A Practical Guide for School, Home, and in the Community.
Maria Mayer
Manager
Ms. Maria brings 20 years of experience working in preschool education, during which time she has served as a lead teacher at each preschool level. Her expertise includes classroom management, student progress reporting, lesson planning, innovative learning strategies, curriculum development, and effective communication with parents. Ms. Maria is committed to creating a nurturing and engaging learning environment that fosters children's intellectual, emotional, and social growth.
Sharbani Mukherjee
Montessori Director
Ms. M is a certified Montessori educator with credentials from both the American Montessori Society (AMS) and The National Center for Montessori Education (NCME). With over 20 years of experience in education, she has worked as a lead teacher in Montessori preschool and kindergarten programs, as well as enrichment programs. Ms. M brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her role at Stream Montessori School.
Dr. Angie(Yan Zi) Yin
Primary Instructor
Ms. Angie is currently pursuing Montessori Early Childhood certification at Morristown Center for Teacher Development. She holds a New York State K-12 Chinese Teacher Certification and has extensive experience in education and leadership. Previously, she served as Principal and Teacher at Raftedu Chinese School in Ithaca, NY. Ms. Angie has a Master of Arts in Teaching from Queens College, CUNY, and a Doctor of Engineering in Composites Science from China. She is passionate about creating dynamic, inclusive learning environments and integrating real-world scenarios into education.
Ms. Cynsia (Yan Zi) Wang
Infant/Toddler Instructor
Ms. Cynsia holds a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Chemistry and Applied Mathematics, and along with a Teaching Preparation Certificate in NY. Proficient in English, French, and Mandarin. she excels in innovative teaching methods and creating inclusive, engaging learning environments. She is currently pursuing her Montessori Early Childhood credential at West Side Montessori School.
Catherine Cai
Assistant Director/Montessori Educator
Miss Catherine obtained a Bachelor's degree in Education, Organization, and Community from the University of Washington and a Master's in Early Childhood and Special Education from New York University. She is also certified as an Early Childhood Montessori Teacher by the American Montessori Society (AMS) and has extensive experience working with students with special needs. Miss Catherine is passionate about creating an inclusive learning environment that meets the needs of every child and is committed to providing the best possible education and support to her students.
