In outdoor play time and our Into the Woods program, children learn through enjoying the warm sun, listening to the rain, feeling the wind, sliding on the snow, decorating with leaves, making a birdhouse with branches, watering flowers, and digging in the dirt. We also study birds, butterflies, and squirrels. Children have fun watching the pumpkins in the summer, and harvesting them in the fall. We carve pumpkins, bake pie, and make hearty soup.
